  • I wanted to thank you for the awesome class. I can't express how much I learned. You and Bob Tripp did an awesome job. I've instructed marksmanship and have been through more military classes than I can remember. You and Bob gave one of the best classes I've ever had the pleasure of attending. Take care and I hope to see you on the road sometime.

  • Geoff,
Thanks so much for a great class this weekend. I really did enjoy it. You and Jason did a wonderful job. I need to learn a lot more, but I feel like I got a good start. Now, I just have to figure out what kind of bike to buy...

  • I want to Thank You for the MSF course that I took last weekend (August 6-7). I must tell you that both Bill and Geoff are excellent teachers! Besides being highly skilled, they were excellent communicators, giving clear directions and instructions, and repeating them as needed (and in different ways for those of us with thick heads) without being redundant. Our entire groups were 'rookies'. Their patience was endless. Both were sensitive to our fears and insecurities, and encouraged us to do better with positive coaching. No matter how well I did or how badly I screwed up, they found something positive to say, and something specific and constructive for me to improve on the next time around. For someone who had never operated a motorcycle at all, my goal for the weekend was to learn how to operate the controls and coast around in 1st gear. The fact that I was able to pass the course and earn my certificate is solely due to the effective teaching and coaching of Bill and Geoff. As a 22 year veteran teacher and athletic coach, I can appreciate their skills as instructors. It was a long way from northern Vermont for me to take this course, but it was worth every mile, minute and dollar! Thank You again...

  • I attended the experienced riders course on May 20, 2005 at Otis (Cape Cod). I just wanted to take a minute to thank Carl and Geoff. They both were very patient, knowledgeable and professional. I took away more from the class than I thought I would. Carl explained things in a matter that were easy to understand and Geoff demonstrated flawlessly on his Goldwing. I would highly recommend this class to the most experienced of riders. Thanks to everyone involved with this program for a great day.

  • I just wanted to write a short note to let you know that I thoroughly enjoyed the beginner training class I took on 5/14 & 5/15 in Bourne. The instructors were Jason and Geoff. They were incredibly knowledgeable, patient and enthusiastic. It is my impression that they enjoy teaching as much as I enjoyed learning. The class was a very positive experience for me. I have, and will continue to recommend it to everyone I know. These two instructors are an asset to [MREP] and you should be very proud of them.

  • ...I want to thank you for all the hard work and the skills that you taught me...thanks for a great time this weekend - I really had fun and feel much more comfortable.

  • Great class...Learned more than I thought possible. Steve & Geoff really made the ride portion very enjoyable, even in the rain.

  • I started the day not knowing much of anything and left feeling very comfortable as a new rider. Thanks for the experience. You have great thing going here. Keep it up!

  • I absolutely cannot say enough about this program, and will certainly recommend it to my friends! I walked in knowing NOTHING about riding, and was extremely nervous about getting on a motorcycle. I walked out the next afternoon feeling very comfortable on a bike, and with [successful completion and credit for --Geoff] my license, of course! The instructors were all excellent - extremely helpful and patient with everyone. Now I just need to go find myself a bike to ride, and I'll be on my way! Thanks again!

  • I just took the Basic Course and thought it was very informative. I have motorcycling experience and had no problems doing the riding, but I did get valuable info from listening to the two instructors and found the course fun to do. And I did learn a few things as well. I will certainly recommend [the] courses to others I come across, and I may take another course with you guys in the future. Ride safe and have fun!!

  • The range part of the Beginners Class was outstanding. Geoff and Steve gave great, thorough instructions while having a sense of humor to loosen up people's nerves.

  • I had my class 4/28/03 (Monday morning 7am-6pm) and had a great time. Well worth the fee for a "need to know" understanding of the ways of motorcycling. The instructors helped everyone who asked questions and had an answer for every question, no matter how basic it was. There was a variety of skill levels within my class from beginners, couple years riding, already own bikes etc. The class was also half and half between women & men. Everyone was friendly with each other and I had a great day riding. Our whole class passed-- Nice day, Great teachers, highly recommended course!!

  • Recently, I took the motorcyle riding course (4/13-4/14 2003) in Seekonk. I found it to be exceptionally helpful. Geoff and Kerry were very patient, understanding, and oustanding instructors. Today was in the 70's and I was out there practicing what I was recently taught. I feel more confident with my new Harley with their help. Kerry and Geoff are a valuable asset to Ironstone Ventures and to new training of all riders.

  • I had to take the riding class twice, since I was unable to complete it the first time due to heat stroke. I was fortunate enough to have Geoff as my instructor for both classes. Both he, Amanda, and the other instructor (whose name I can't remember, sorry!) [Steve --Geoff] were excellent instructors. They were always very encouraging, patient and willing to assist each and every student with individual attention when necessary. They kept the class up beat and fun, while at all times keeping safety first. The knowledge received in both the classroom and riding session are invaluable, and the practice helped me to gain confidence for when I'm out on my own bike. I enjoyed the course very much, and I'm telling everyone I know that rides that they should take the course whether they are beginners or experienced riders.

  • I was one of the unlucky few who didn't meet the standard, but I found that the instruction gave me the confidence to practice on my own. I did pass my re-evaluation, but more important than that is the knowledge and skill I gained from the course. Also I really enjoyed the instruction and have recommended the course to others. I plan on taking the advanced course next year. Thank You!

  • Had a great time, learned a lot, thanks to you and the other Instructor, but still not ready for the big hi-way and following my husband on his Gold Wing! It's parking lots and back roads near home for me, for now. Thanks!

  • I would like to thank you and the others for the instruction that you gave me at Massasoit on May 31 - June 2. Learning what I learned about all aspects of riding made a difference. I went home Sunday and was going to ride but thought about it. I realized I was too tired to ride. On Monday I went for a ride and for the first time there was some confidence in what I was doing. There are plenty of back roads to practice on so for now that is what I will do. Again Geoff thank you very much for your assistance.
    --Steve M., June 2002
  • I would like to say though I have been riding for a while now this class was a great help. I learned some great techniques, and tips for riding. The instructors were great, and the people friendly. By the third day we were like a little family, all pulling for one another. I made some new friends.
